Dagenham & Redbridge have announced the double loan signing of Patrick Agyemang from Portsmouth and Joe Widdowson from Bury.

The duo have signed on a month’s loan with Agyemang’s deal running until January 3, whilst Widdowson will remain at the club until January 4.

The Pompey forward has scored 76 professional goals in his career and played for a number of clubs.

The 34-year-old will be eligible to play in Saturday’s match against Bury at Gigg Lane.

Wayne Burnett’s side make the trip to face the Shakers this weekend but Widdowson will not be eligible to face his parent club.

The 25-year-old signed for Bury at the start of the season before spending two months on loan to league rivals Morecambe.

Widdowson made nine appearances whilst on loan at the Lancashire club and the left-back will provide Daggers boss with an extra option in defence.

A product of West Ham United’s academy, he will wear the number 33 for the club.

Agyemang will wear the number 34 for the club, but his loan is subject to confirmation from the league.

Daggers youngster Nathan Green has left the club on a month’s loan and joined Ian Gayle and Jon Nouble at St Albans City.

The 23-year-old moved to Victoria Road in the summer from Tonbridge Angels and has made eight appearances for the club.
