Concord Rangers come to Victoria Road in January

Dagenham & Redbridge have announced their Essex Senior Cup quarter-final tie with Concord Rangers will take place on January 20.

Wayne Burnett’s side welcome the Conference South outfit to Victoria Road for a 7.30pm kick-off.

The clash takes place after Daggers visit to Northampton Town (January 17) and before they travel to face Cambridge United on January 24.

Burnett has used the competition to field strong squads so far this season with Rhys Murphy scoring in their previous two victories over Barkingside and Waltham Abbey, both of the Ryman North.

The likes of Abu Ogogo, Luke Howell, Joss Labadie, George Porter and Matt Partridge have also featured in previous rounds.

The last time these two teams met Daggers threw away a three-goal lead to lose 4-3 at Victoria Road in 2012/13 campaign.

But Burnett’s side will be keen to avoid a similar result and will hope to secure a place in the semi-final’s of the competition.

Tickets will be available on the gates priced at £6 for adults and £3 for concessions.
