Dagenham & Redbridge have signed striker Ade Yusuff from Ryman Division One North side Chatham Town on a one-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old has already netted seven goals this season for the Chats in their first nine games of the campaign, and scored a plethora of goals last term following his November 2013 arrival from Aveley.

Yusuff started last season with Ryman Premier outfit AFC Hornchurch, and perfected the role of impact substitute, scoring deep into added time to secure victory over Margate on August 13, 2013, before netting late on to secure a share of the spoils against Wealdstone in September.

The striker had been attracting interest from other clubs in the Football League, but Daggers won the race to sign the forward, who has also played in non league for Biggleswade United, St Neots Town, Banbury United and Lincoln City.

Yusuff has been signed in time to feature in tomorrow’s home fixture with Cambridge United.
