Alex Jakubiak completes Dagenham & Redbridge’s late triple swoop into the loan market.

Dagenham & Redbridge have added young Watford striker Alex Jakubiak to their squad on a one month youth loan, subject to Football League confirmation.

The 18-year-old came through the Academy at Vicarage Road, and has already spent a part of this season on loan in League Two with Oxford United.

Jakubiak played 10 games between August 16 and October 11 for the U’s and scored against the Daggers in the 3-3 draw at the Kassam Stadium on August 30.

Last season the youngster had a spell on loan with Conference Premier side Braintree Town, scoring on his debut against Wrexham on March 11, before then starting Watford’s final game of the 2013/14 Championship season – a 4-1 home loss to Huddersfield Town.

Jakubiak is the third Daggers loan signing today, following on from the arrivals of defender Joe Widdowson and Patrick Agyemang from fellow League Two clubs Bury and Portsmouth respectively.
