Midfield agrees new three-month contract to remain with club

Kane Ferdinand has become the second midfielder in as many days to extend his stay with Dagenham & Redbridge after signing a new deal until December 5.

News of the 22-year-old’s new contract comes just a day after Daggers announced they had secured Niko Hamalainen on loan from Queens Park Rangers for another month.

Ferdinand initially joined the east Londoners on a one-month agreement in August but has clearly done enough to convince manager Wayne Burnett he is worthy of a longer contract.

The former Southend United man has featured in all of Dagenham’s game this season but has yet to score his first goal for the club.
