Hines to play against Concord Rangers

Assistant manager confirms winger will play in quarter-final tie
Dagenham & Redbridge supporters will get the chance to see Zavon Hines in action this evening when they take on Conference South outfit Concord Rangers in the quarter-finals of the Essex Senior Cup.
Assistant manager Warren Hackett confirmed the former West Ham United youngster will be involved this evening against the Beach Boys.
The 26-year-old hasn’t played at Victoria Road since February 22 when he netted in the 2-1 defeat to Plymouth Argyle.
Hines has been out since after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury and undergoing surgery in March.
But Hackett revealed: “Zavon will be involved and it will be great for everyone at the club to see him involved.
“He will start and we will assess him. He has played in a development game and got 60 minutes then so we will see how he goes tonight.”
Hackett also confirmed Abu Ogogo was set to return after missing the last three months of football with a knee injury.
Daggers captain hasn’t featured for Wayne Burnett since the 1-0 loss to AFC Wimbledon on November 15.
Youth team product Jodi Jones will also get an opportunities this evening after impressing in the win against Waltham Abbey in the previous round.
Jones scored the opener in the 2-1 fourth round win and impressed throughout against the non-league outfit.
Hackett added : “It will be Abs first game back for some time so we will see how he goes.
“We will have a strong squad out tonight and Jodi Jones will be involved.”
Luke Howell should be suspended following his red card in the match against Abbey, but the likes of Liam O’Brien, Brian Saah and George Porter could all get an opportunity this evening.
