Daggers fans — and one player — took to social media after National League match to share views on success

Dagenham & Redbridge returned to winning ways in the National League with a 2-1 success at home to Forest Green Rovers, which generated a great response on Twitter.

After a few up-and-down weeks following the Essex club, fans were happy to see their team get their promotion push back on track.

Goals from Jordan Maguire-Drew and Scott Doe for Daggers were split by a header form Rovers forward Christian Doidge on his return to Victoria Road.

Before the game, there was also the news that Daggers boss John Still had extended his contract until June 2019.

So all in all, it was nearly the perfect day for Daggers fans as the club returned to second place in the National League.

It was perhaps unsurprising then that several fans, as well as one player, took to social media after the win over Forest Green to praise Daggers for such a superb display.
