Sky Bet League Two preview: AFC Wimbledon v Dagenham & Redbridge
Dagenham & Redbridge boss Wayne Burnett only has one injury concern going into today’s clash with AFC Wimbledon.
Joss Labadie sustained a knock in training this week but the Victoria Road manager expects the 24-year-old to be fit for the match with the Dons.
And he also revealed captain Abu Ogogo is fully fit despite being forced off against Southport last weekend through injury.
“Abs will be fine but Labadie has taken a slight knock in training,” said Burnett.
“We think he will be ok, though, so hopefully we are at full strength.”
Andre Boucaud and Jack Connors are unavailable due to international duty but the Daggers boss believes that offers opportunities to other members of his squad.
And Burnett commented on the fitness of Rhys Murphy and Luke Howell - with the latter playing 76 minutes versus Southport on his return from injury.
He added: “Andre is away and so is Jack Connors.
“When people aren’t available it gives other people an opportunity.
“Luke will be ok and Rhys is available but it is about him getting games and minutes.
“We had a practice game, a in house game I should say, between us, and he got some more minutes under his belt.”
Matt Partridge come into the starting team last weekend, with Scott Doe dropping to the bench.
And the performance of the 20-year-old impressed the Victoria Road boss.
“Matt did do a good job, he has come back well when he has been called upon,” Burnett said.
“He is still only young and is still learning the game but he is someone who has stepped up very well. There is a possibility he will start.”
Ayo Obileye, who has signed on loan from Charlton Athletic, is also available for selection today.
