Matt Partridge and Zavon Hines expected to miss out, but Alex Jakubiak pushing for first start

Dagenham & Redbridge boss Wayne Burnett revealed earlier this week that Matt Partridge was struggling to be fit for today’s clash with Northampton Town.

The youngster was forced off last weekend during the stalemate with Oxford United with a hamstring injury and hasn’t trained all week. Damian Batt will likely replace him.

Zavon Hines wasn’t included in the squad against the U’s and is expected to miss out against the Cobblers today as he works his way back to full fitness.

Captain Abu Ogogo has resumed full training though and will be pushing for a place on the bench at Sixfields.

Billy Bingham, despite coming off with a head injury against Oxford, will be expected to take up his place in the starting line up.

Joe Widdowson is likely to be in contention for the left-back spot with Jack Connors, though the youngster has impressed during the last three matches.

Whilst Alex Jakubiak, who is on loan from Watford, could earn his first start after making a positive impression during his 14-minute cameo last weekend.
