Daggers boss has decision to make over team

Wayne Burnett celebrated two years in charge of Dagenham & Redbridge this week and will hope to mark the milestone with a win at Mansfield Town today.

He will have a relatively fit squad to choose from as well with Zavon Hines expected to be the only absentee and he will have a new face to potentially choose as well.

Forward Shamir Fenelon signed on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday to boost Daggers attacking options.

It means Burnett will have to make a decision about which first teamers are left out at Mill Field this afternoon.

Matt Partridge and Damian Batt have missed out in recent weeks, whilst Joss Labadie and Ade Yusuff have also had time out of the match day squad.

Youth team player Jodi Jones has been involved over the past month, but the physicality of the Staggs could see him miss out today.

Daggers have picked the same starting 11 for the past four matches, but Burnett could make changes to the side following last weekend’s 3-1 loss to Burton Albion.

He may look to go with on loan Huddesfield Town forward Daniel Carr up front to add more height to the team or give Fenelon a debut from the off.
