West Ham United continue their busy week at Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Thursday night, before visiting Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup third round on Sunday.

The Hammers needed a last-gasp winner from Andy Carroll on Tuesday night to beat West Bromwich Albion at the London Stadium.

Leyton Orient, meanwhile, will hope to chop down Boreham Wood, who they welcome in the National League on Saturday.

The O’s will want to return to winning ways having played out a goalless draw at Dagenham & Redbridge on New Year’s Day, which followed a 1-0 loss at home to Bromley last week.

Daggers are another side in need of a win heading into their clash at home to Hartlepool United on Saturday.

John Still’s men are without a victory in their last four games in the league, including that stalemate with Orient, which came after a 1-1 draw at Ebbsfleet United last weekend.

All this, plus the latest non-league news, is discussed on this week’s East London Football podcast.
