West Ham United entertain Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday, looking for a third straight win in all competitions.

David Moyes’ Hammers triumphed 4-1 at Huddersfield Town in the league last weekend, before winning 1-0 at home to Shrewsbury Town of League One in an FA Cup third round replay on Tuesday.

Leyton Orient are off to Halifax Town in the National League this weekend, looking to put further distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Last Saturday, the O’s, managed by Justin Edinburgh, needed extra time to win 2-1 at National League South side Bognor Regis Town in the FA Trophy second round.

Dagenham & Redbridge, meanwhile, return to action at Sutton United in the National League after having last weekend off.

Though Daggers were without a game this week, manager John Still would have been pleased to see striker Joe White, on loan at Hendon of the Bostik Premier, net five goals on his 19th birthday on Tuesday.

All this, plus the latest non-league news, is discussed on this week’s East London Football podcast.
