Dagenham & Redbridge captain Ben Nunn is expecting another tough test for his young side this weekend.

Daggers welcome high-flying Wrexham to Victoria Road on Non League Day (Saturday) as they look to bounce back from four consecutive defeats in the National League.

They currently sit 22nd in the league table with just two wins in their first 15 fixtures this campaign and the skipper has urged the Daggers to stick together.

“Every game is going to be tough, every game is going to be hard, we’ve got to stick together as a group and work as hard as we can,” the 28-year-old said.

“We’ve got to create better chances, in training we do it week in week out, we’re unbelievable in training but we can’t seem to do it in matches but it’s got to come at some point and hopefully that is Saturday.”

The former Boreham Wood right-back will be hoping to remain in the squad for a second game running this weekend.
