Archant

Barking & Dagenham’s B team suffered a big defeat against Havering in their latest district outing.

Havering took control with two early goals, but Tolu Fabamifobee halved the deficit with his sixth goal of the season.

Barking & Dagenham almost drew level before the break but Fabamifobee was denied a second by a smart reaction save from the Havering keeper.

Havering increased their lead early in the second half and struck three more goals as they dominated.

Barking & Dagenham, to their credit, battled on but they were unable to add to their tally and conceded a seventh goal late on as the scoreline looked harsh.

They entertain Orpington at May & Baker on Saturday.

Barking & Dagenham: R Inayat, K Efobi (Valence), R Jeffs (Hunters Hall), R Setters (Godwin), L Collingridge (Richard Alibon), T Fabamifobee, (George Carey), E Pougoue-Ngalamou (The Leys), A Balogun (Grafton), I Aroui (Thames View), F Ismail (Northbury), E Iusco (Marks Gate).
