Fulham new boy Hugo Rodallega marked his debut as he scored the only goal of the game as the Whites stuttered past MK Dons.
The Dons had the best opportunity to grab the lead but Shaun Williams blazed his penalty over after David Stockdale fouled Luke Chadwick.
And the mistake was punished when Kacaniklic’s corner fell to the former Wigan man and he made no mistake from close range.
