Transfer news: Alexander Buttner appears set for the Red Devils
Vitesse full back Alexander Buttner is set to snub Southampton, Fulham and QPR in order to sign for Manchester United.
The Saints had looked the favourites to sign Buttner but it appears that the Red Devils are looking at a cheaper option at left back than Everton man Leighton Baines.
“This is really a dream come true,” the 23-year-old told Omroep Gelderland.
“It was all arranged very quickly and of course I am very delighted. Happily everything is coming to an end.”
