The DT38 Foundation will be hoping plenty of funds are raised at a special boxing event organised by Peacock White Collar Boxing at York Hall on November 11.

The event later this year will offer first-time and novice boxers an opportunity to step inside the ring at one of Britain’s most iconic sporting venues.

Established in 2002, Dominic Shepherd launched Peacock Gym White Collar Boxing events.

Since then, over 18,000 visitor attendees have been welcomed to the events, which are regularly sold out.

Last year alone saw Peacock White Collar Boxing events raise more than £26,000 for charity.

This year’s event sees Peacock White Collar Boxing partner with The DT38 Foundation, set up the honour the life of former West Ham United forward Dylan Tombides, who died from testicular cancer in 2014 aged just 20.

Formed by Tombides’ mother Tracy, The DT38 Foundation aims to raise awareness among young men of testicular cancer.

It is hoped November sees a vibrant and energetic event in support of The DT38 Foundation, celebrating the wonderful world of boxing in a safe and enjoyable environment.

This year’s event will see the action get underway at 2pm on November 11, with up to 12 3x2 fights on the card.

As well as plenty of boxing action, the event will also see a raffle and auction take place.

Among the prizes on offer in the raffle and auction are: a meal for two at The May Fair Kitche;, a one-night stay at The St James Hotel and Club; a boxercise lesson and use of spa for the day at The Lanesborough Hotel; a Hawes & Curtis suit and shirt; a one-to-one with up-and-coming heavyweight sensation Daniel Dubois at Peacock Gym; a night’s accommodation in the south of France and a round of golf at Golf de Vidauban; and a made-to-measure suit donated by Denman & Goddard (reserve price £2,000).

Tickets remain on sale for the event, price at £30 for stalls, £40 for balcony and £50 for ringside seats, while sponsorship packages also remain on offer

It is hoped a great time is had by all at the event and that it raises plenty of funds for The DT38 Foundation.
