Transfer news: The Royals have confirmed that the deal is only subject to obtaining a work permit
Pavel Pogrebnyak has turned down a move to Fulham in order to sign for Premier League newcomers, Reading.
The Berkshire club have confirmed that the Russia international has already completed a medical and the deal is now only subject to the 28-year-old obtaining a UK work permit.
Pogrebnyak had also been linked with moves to Aston Villa, Sunderland and West Brom.
