Barking judo club Toshi Kazooku Judokwai enjoy medal success

Barking Abbey-based Toshi Kazoku Judokwai picked up a bundle of medals at multiple competitions last weekend.

Three TKJ members competed at the Bishop Stortford red belt rumble with Daniel Rynkevic picking up a gold medal.

Dennis Voinovan bagged a silver medal and Erol Hassain, who was fighting in his first competition, won a bronze medal.

On Sunday, more competitors took part in the Kengei judo club festival day.

Gold medals were won by Kia Aziz , Jenson Verrier and Kelian Fulgence .

It was a silver medal for Billie Ridley and bronze medals for Amy Verrier and

Kamil Kubasik.

Coach Turan Kiani said: “I’m so glad all these youngsters are gaining competition experience at this age.

“These are the future of our judo club and the way they are performing the future looks bright and I couldn’t be happier.”
