Chelsea transfer news: Gonzalo Higuain keen on a move to River Plate
Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has admitted he could return to Argentina and sign for former club River Plate.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Blues, with his representative conceding that he could make the move to west London if he were to leave current club Real Madrid.
However Higuain admitted that he was missing his homeland and would be keen to return to the capital.
“I had a short stint at River and it would be rewarding to return,” he said.
“I like Argentina. In Spain, there are pretty girls, but I prefer Argentine customs.”
