Little Britain star and Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams is to host a new primetime BBC programme.
The funnyman will host panel show I Love My Country, with comics Greg Davies and Frank Skinner as team captains.
A pilot episode of the programme - in which celebrity teams have to prove they know Britain best - was filmed earlier this week and was a hit with the studio audience.
One audience member told The Sun newspaper: “It was very funny. Frank just kept winding David up all the way through that he wasn’t doing his job right.
“But David took it in the right way and gave as good as he got. The chemistry between the three was great.”
