The concerts will focus on celebrating 50 years of Jamaican independence, and will feature a range of Jamaican musicians brought together by jazz double-bassist Gary Crosby.

There will also be music from French artists marking Bastille day on Saturday, and an afternoon of London funk and soul on Sunday.

Among those taking to the stage are “Jamaica’s First Lady of Jazz” Myrna Hague and ska group Santa Macairo Orkestar.
