Brit actor Christopher Eccleston is to play Thor’s arch nemesis Malekith in the sequel of the smash hit movie.
Eccleston is close to penning a deal to appear in the film, according to reports.
Alan Taylor – who’s previous work includes Game of Thrones, is directing the following to the 2011 film.
Details of the plot are a closely guarded secret, but Malekith is expected to battle Thor like in the Marvel comics.
