A new festival is set to bring house music to Dagenham this summer.

A Bucks Fizz spin off is swapping the land of make believe for Barking to headline the One Borough Festival.

Barking's very own "pre-Edinburgh" fringe performance festival is giving artists and theatre companies opportunities to showcase new, existing and 'in development' work.

The full line up for the Barking Folk Festival has been announced with under two months to go until the annual bash.

A music producer and artist who works in Harold Hill has launched his first single, and is being featured alongside artists including Nick Cave, Example and the Kooks.
