A festival inspired by ideas from the community is proving how powerful an influence the arts has on mental health.

A month-long festival is being staged with outdoor dance, origami sculptures and online radio plays.

An events organiser and arts studio have teamed up so people can still tune in and drop out after the plug was pulled on festivals across the country this summer.

In these troubled times, who better to rally the nation in a chorus of song than national treasure Gareth Malone?
