Musician Jeff Brown will be rocking out on stage at Dagenham Trades Hall tomorrow night.

The former Wildfire, Statetrooper and Sweet band member is due to perform tracks from his debut solo album 23 Years.

Jeff grew up in the era of Glam Rock and decided to turn his back on playing bass and return to his passion for rock to make the album.

“I’m always excited about shows,” Jeff said. “I loved every minute of performing live with some great bands but there’s nothing more satisfying than playing your own material in front of an enthusiastic audience.

The new album sums up his life so far and Jeff’s desire to be a songwriter.

“Bass guitarists rarely get the opportunity to contribute to the songwriting so I’ve wanted to release a solo album for many years,” Jeff admitted.

Jeff’s gig at Dagenham Trades Hall in Charlotte Road, Dagenham starts at 8.30pm on Saturday. Entry is free. Visit jeffbrownrocks.com for details.
