Cinderella gets musical revival

CINDERELLA is one of the greatest fairytales ever told and is loved by millions of children and adults everywhere.

Now the enchanting love story is coming to the stage with a revival of the original Rodgers and Hammerstein score.

The Essex based Stage One Theatre Company will perform the classic musical at the Kenneth More Theatre in Ilford this week.

Cinderella was written for television with the part of Cinderella played by Julie Andrews (Mary Poppins/ The Sound of Music) it was aired in 1957 and watched by 115 million people.

Stage One's production will include the unforgettable songs "In My Own Little Corner", "The Prince is Giving a Ball", "Impossible" and "The Stepsister's Lament".

The show is equally touching and funny with a great cast and wonderful music it is truly a treat for the entire family.

Cinderella is showing from today (Wednesday) to Saturday May 31with performances at 7pm and a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.
