JIMMY Greaves was one of English soccer's best ever goalscorers, and now he is a superb stage entertainer.

He'll be at the Civic Theatre, Chelmsford with his pal and agent, Terry Baker to regale the audience with anecdotes from his life as a top TV personality, an after dinner speaker, and international footballer.

AN Evening With Jonathan Miller is a week later at the Civic, Wednesday, Feb 11.

The writer, theatre, opera, and film director has spent a lifetime in the arts - much of it in comedy with such greats as Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Alan Bennett, Eric Idle, John Cleese, Jack Lemmon, and Kevin Spacey.

An evening in his company includes time for questions from the audience.
