A FASCINATING and completely original idea from the imagination of Irish playwright Edna Walsh - Cyberspace is both chilling and uplifting.

Six 17-year-olds who have never met but chat online are all obsessed with the idea of depression and suicide.

Jim wants to end his life, and Eva and William are trying to persuade him to carry out his threats in the teenage suicide chatroom.

This cuttingly honest piece of theatre is in turns funny and saddening, tackling the drama and confusion of being a teenager.

The production is brought to you by The Palace Theatre Youth Company for 16-19 year-olds at the Dixon Studio in the Palace Theatre, Southend.

Cyberspace is on from Thursday July 3 - Saturday July 5 at 8pm, tickets cost £5.
