The inimitable Jack Jones is calling into Westcliff later this month during his UK tour.

Still belting out the songs, the singer who stems back from the era of names such as Sinatra, Mel Torme and Dean Martin had been labelled a 'one of the major singers of our time.'

He will be at the Cliffs Pavilion, Westcliff, tonight, Wednesday, May 14.

Tickets are from £25.50 to £29.50 and available from the box office on 01702 351135.

The chance to see the last days of the greatest fictional detective ever, Sherlock Holmes, will be at Chelmsford later this month.

Roger Llewellyn brings his notable solo performance to the stage of the Civic Theatre after some years touring.

His original Sherlock Holmes - The Last Act, told of the death of Watson and Holmes relation with his life long companion, now Roger has expanded the play to include descriptions of Holmes's arch enemy Moriarty in a rivetting creation of the actor's art.

The performance is on Tuesday, May 27 at 8pm with tickets at £8 and £10 available from the box office on 01245 606505.
