The mystique of South Africa's musical groups is coming to Hornchurch with exotic harmonies and spectacular dance moves.

Zimbabwe's internationally acclaimed dance and singing sensations, Black Umfolosi, Promise to deliver an evening of acappella gospel harmonies mixed with engaging and energetic African dance at Queen's theatre.

Potent Zulu war dances and gumboot dance of South Africa's miners complete with hard hats and bare torsos will be among routines choreographed and performed by the artists.

The group, started by pupils at George Silundka primary school in Ntabsinda, Zimbabwe in 1982 has won rave reviews with their international performances and have been described as 'extraordinary'.

Performances will take place on Wednesday June 24 at 8pm with tickets costing £15 for adults and £12 for under 16s.
