Brave young Scouts braced themselves for a night of ghoulish storytelling in a spooky mansion.
The Barking and Dagenham Scouts held a sleepover at Eastbury Manor House, Barking, which is thought to be haunted by five ghosts, last Saturday.
The Scout group had a campfire and sang songs before going on a spooky, candle lit tour of the house and sitting in a dark room to tell ghost stories.
A spokesperson for the group said: “They all had a great time and the leaders would like to thank all the staff at Eastbury Manor House.”
