With Wimbledon fever in the air Valence House has taken a nostalgic look back at families enjoying tennis in 1950s Dagenham.
These photos, from its archives, show a man teaching a young boy how to hit the ball at a court in Goresbrook Park and people enjoying a game in Old Dagenham Park.
