A treasure trail, arts and crafts and drama workshops were among the treats on offer for youngsters at Eastbury Manor House yesterday.
More than 250 people explored the house during the treasure hunt and took part in the 15-minute sessions.
Punchdrunk’s family fun day at the Barking landmark was based around the history of the area and Eastbury Manor was used as the starting point for the workshops.
The theatre company will now use stories gathered on the day to shape a Hallowe’en Fair at the manor at the end of October – St Ethelburga’s Hallowtide Fair.
