Joseph O'Brien 8th October 1951 - 4th July 2009 God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be So he put his arms around you And whispered come to me With tearful eyes we watched you And saw you pass away Although we love you dearly We could not make you stay It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone For part of us went with you The day god called you home Miss you always our darling boy All your loving family
