The ground floor of a three-storey commercial industrial building used as a shisha bar has been destroyed by fire.
Four fire engines and 25 crew members were called to Creek Road in Barking after the blaze broke out this afternoon (January 31).
London Fire Brigade (LFB) said the blaze was under control just before 2pm - an hour after crews were called.
There were no reported injuries.
Fire crews from East Ham, Plaistow, Ilford and Dagenham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, LFB said.
