BARI FC turned up the heat on the leaders of the Independent Sunday League Premier Division with a double-header win over Wennington Rovers.
Despite the poor conditions, Bari took the lead in the first match after just 10 minutes when Mo Kidia was fouled in the area and Eljay Worrell converted the penalty.
The second goal soon arrived when man of the match Kidia beat three players before crossing for Jack Sawyer to finish.
Bari missed a hatful of chances to extend their lead and almost paid the price when a defensive error saw Rovers net a consolation strike.
The second game also finished 2-1 to Bari, with Kidia again the stand-out performer.
