ONE OF London's biggest fireworks displays will return to the borough this Saturday, writes Ian Weinfass.
Barking & East London Round Table's annual charity fireworks display will take place at Barking Park, Longbridge Road.
Before the main display, at 8pm, there will be entertainment from up-and-coming local talent. Girls Aloud tribute act 'Girls Allowed' will also be performing the group's greatest hits.
The event, supported by the POST, will have food and a fun fair. It starts at 6.15pm.
Around 6,000 people are expected to attend the display.
All primary and junior school children in the borough will receive a free ticket from their school. Entrance is �5 for adults and �1 for other under 16s.
The Round Table is an organisation for young men aged 18 - 45 who organise fundraising and social events.
