A MODEST law-abiding citizen, 70-something Harry is a retired marine and lives alone on a depressed south London housing estate, where drugs are the currency and everyone seems to have a gun.
When his best friend Leonard is murdered by a gang of thugs, Harry turns vigilante, dispensing his own brand of justice.
But his actions bring him into conflict with the police, led by investigating officer Det Chief Insp Frampton.
Sir Michael Caine stars in HARRY BROWN (18), which is bound to draw comparisons with Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino, although the violence is more overt here.
