SPRING is the time of new possibilities and with that in mind Barking Indoor Bowls Club are giving potential bowlers an opportunity to come down and give their sport a go for free.
The club, which is situated inside Barking Park, is holding an Open Day on Easter Saturday, April 11, between 10am and 3pm, where anybody can come along and try the tricky, but extremely rewarding sport of indoor bowls.
Don't be fooled, this sport is not exclusively for our more senior members of society.
This is a challenging game that can be played by any age group, competing on equal terms.
Equipment will be provided if you want to come along, so why not give it a go.
For more details you can ring the club on 0208 5949250.
