BOTH of Newham's Essex Senior League side's were soundly beaten at the weekend, with neither even able to find the net.
Clapton lost their third game in a row when they were hammered 3-0 by Enfield 1893.
Abdul Husain gave the visitors a 19th minute lead at the Old Spotted Dog, before Neil Hughes and Denis Mehmet sealed the win.
Things are not going to get any easier for the Tons however, as they face seventh-place Hullbridge Sports this weekend.
Barkingside proved too strong for London APSA at the Terrence MacMillan Stadium winning 2-0.
Craig Dennis opened the scoring after 50 minutes, with Dom Harkins doubling the visitors advantage 18 minutes later.
The Newham club should, however, pick up three points this weekend when they travel to Wadham Lodge in a derby against bottom-placed Mauritius Sports, who have won just twice in the league all season.
