WEST HAM go into Saturday's FA Cup fifth round clash with Middlesbrough brimming with confidence, despite losing to Manchester United last Sunday afternoon, writes DAVE EVANS.

The encounter is a repeat of the 2006 FA Cup semi-final and current Hammers keeper Rob Green is hoping for a similar result.

"This is one we can look forward to," he said. "We've put ourselves in a good position in the league and now we can go out and give the cup a real go.

"It's one game we will definitely be looking to win."

For youngster Jack Collison, this is his first run in the competition and he is enjoying every minute of it.

"We are going into the game full of confidence," said the midfielder. "The results haven't been going well for them at the moment, so we are looking to beat them and then we're only a couple of games away from the final.

"That would be a great thing. It's what all kids dream of winning and I think we've got a great chance."

Green was asked if he is thinking of Wembley yet?

"No," came the reply with a laugh, but there may well be a few Hammers fans who are.

Lucas Neill will return from his trip to Yokohama where Australia drew 0-0 with Japan in a World Cup qualifying match, in time for Saturday's game, and he and Matthew Upson, who were both rested in the last round against Hartlepool, are likely to be included.

Neill, though, is suspended for the trip to Bolton Wanderers next week after picking up a fifth league booking on Sunday.
