More than a thousand fundraisers were bathed in glorious sunshine – and colourful bubbles – as they tackled a 5km course.
Families and friends converged on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park yesterday for the first ever East London Bubble Rush, in aid of Saint Francis Hospice (Havering-atte-Bower), Haven House Children’s Hospice (Woodford Green), Richard House Children’s Hospice (Beckton) and St Joseph’s Hospice (Hackney).
The route featured four different bubble stations, entertainment and a range of merchandise stalls.
Proceeds will be shared equally between the four charities.
