THE GRIEVING partner of murder victim, Malcolm Barnett says she still has nightmares about the brutal attack that led to his death.

As police announce a £20,000 reward for new information into the murder, Cheryl Payne, 27, says she will never be able to forget how the man she loved was beaten to death in his own home.

She said: "I still can't sleep properly, I have nightmares all the time, and I dream it's all happening again.

"There is a massive hole in my life now; we want some justice for Malcolm and his family."

At about 2am on June 10, 2006, a gang of six thugs broke into Mr Barnett's house in Hunters Hall Road, Dagenham.

As the 43-year-old lay in his bed sleeping they attacked him with weapons leaving him with fatal head injuries.
