A man has been arrested after he was allegedly seen with a crossbow in a public park.
Police were called at 9.35am this morning (February 2) to Eastbrookend Country Park in Dagenham.

A Met Police spokesperson said officers attended and stopped a man nearby. The man was then arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
The spokesperson added there were no reports of any injuries.
