A Barking theatre is encouraging people to get into the Christmas spirit by hosting a festive show.
Neil Sands’ hit West End cast are coming to Barking’s Broadway Theatre to perform Christmas Memories, which includes 60 songs and carols.
Classics like Rocking Around The Christmas Tree, Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, Sleigh Ride, Winter Wonderland and White Christmas start the yuletide ball rolling, as well as children’s favourites Jingle Bells, Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer and Frosty The Snowman.
But it wouldn’t be Christmas without Slade’s Merry Christmas Everybody, Elton John’s Step Into Christmas and Wizzard’s I Wish it Could Be Christmas Every Day, blended with traditional hymns like Silent Night, Come All Ye Faithful, Away In A Manger and Ding Dong Merrily On High.
