A celebration of steam is returning to a much-loved Norfolk attraction this summer.
Now in its fourth year, the Steam Gala Day is back at Thursford, near Fakenham, on Sunday, July 7 2024 from 11am until 5pm.
Its museum houses the world’s largest collection of steam engines and organs and it opened for the 2024 season in April.
Gala Day celebrates founder G.T. Cushing with exhibitors showcasing mechanical organs, vintage vehicles and steam engines.

The 2024 line-up includes an aerobatic display from The Flying Comrades, featuring various Yakovlev aircraft.
There will also be street food traders, a barbecue, live music and the recently restored showman’s engine Victory will be in steam.
Organist Robert Wolfe will be performing on the mighty Wurlitzer with two special shows.

John Cushing OBE, CEO of Thursford, said: "Gala Day is returning bigger than ever following a record year for visitor numbers.
"This year we have added more exhibitors, new food vendors and leading performances from the ground and in the skies."
