The Barking and Dagenham Carnival is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The festival, which started as a small children's event, has grown into a vibrant celebration for people of all ages and abilities.
This year's carnival will take place on Saturday, July 12, at Barking Town Square, from 1pm to 6.30pm.

The theme for 2025 is "Together We Grow – A Greener Future".
The carnival aims to be more than just a celebration, acting as a movement for sustainability and unity.
Attendees can expect a line-up of performances, hands-on workshops, and immersive experiences.
International carnival artists will deliver performances, as will street dancers and school groups.
The carnival village will host creative workshops, including costume-making, steel pan, tamboo bamboo, and African drumming sessions.
Family-friendly activities, including face painting, local business stalls, and interactive experiences for all ages will also be available.
Participants have reflected on the impact of the festival.
Seyi Afolabi, a volunteer, said: "At its core, the Barking and Dagenham Carnival fosters unity and understanding.
"It’s a space where everyone belongs."
Vanesha Jordan, another volunteer, said: "This event is a true celebration of culture and diversity.
"It brings people together in the best way possible."
The carnival is organised by UKON Careers, an organisation dedicated to empowering communities and fostering social cohesion through inclusive initiatives.
