British Red Cross Christmas market returning to Guildhall

The British Red Cross Christmas market will take place in the Guildhall on December 8 and 9.

Visitors can enjoy festive shopping, entertainment, and contribute to a worthy cause.

The Guildhall, known for its historic charm, will be accessible to the public, allowing visitors to explore the Great Hall, Old Library, and the underground crypts.

The market will offer a variety of items, including vintage jewellery, handcrafted baskets, and exclusive Designed by Refugees baubles and accessories.

The preview night on December 8 will include a ceremonious opening, a fizz reception, and early shopping access.

Tickets are £25.

On December 9, the market will be open from 10.30am to 7pm.

Market day tickets cost £7 and include a complimentary glass of wine.

Visitors can also enjoy a festive lunch or champagne afternoon tea in the crypts.

Both days will feature a raffle and silent auction, supporting the British Red Cross’s work in the UK and overseas.

The market will also host a pop-up exhibition showcasing the British Red Cross’s historical work supporting people in crisis.
