A group of students has become the youngest team ever to compete in the prestigious Red Bull Soapbox Race.

Year 13 pupils from Brook Sixth Form & Academy took part in the Red Bull Soapbox Race, securing 16th place out of 52 teams and earning a perfect 10/10 performance score.

Known for its creative and fast-paced entries, the race featured teams from top organisations, brands, and Premier League football clubs.

The students’ entry began as an after-school club project, evolving into a fully engineered soapbox through months of planning, teamwork, and design.

The team represented both Brook Sixth Form & Academy and the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham with determination, resilience and professionalism.
