A man has been taken to hospital following reports of an assault involving a group of youths.
Police were called to Whalebone Lane, Dagenham, at around 4.50pm on August 27 with reports of an incident.
Officers responded with London Ambulance Service colleagues, and a 38-year-old man was found injured at the scene.
He was taken to hospital where his injuries have been confirmed as non-life threatening.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “At around 16:50hrs on Thursday, 27 August officers were called to a report of a man being assaulted by a group of young people on Whalebone Lane, Dagenham.

“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service, and a 38-year-old man was taken to hospital. His injuries have been confirmed as non-life-threatening."
